LinkedIn has announced the debut of the LinkedIn Podcast Network as streaming services grow in importance as an online industry. According to Engadget, the LinkedIn Podcast Network will include content from both inside the company from the LinkedIn News Team and outside experts.
The technology-related programs that will be broadcast on LinkedIn are geared toward professional audiences and will primarily focus on the management of mental health and job searching. Reid Hoffman, executive chairman and co-founder of LinkedIn, will co-host a podcast about personal entrepreneurship called The Start-Up Of You.
The Start-Up Of You is a program that will debut this spring. Currently in its test stage, the LinkedIn Podcast Network. This is due to the popularity of Hey Monday, a Jesse Hampel-hosted podcast that was featured on LinkedIn News and described the stages of job creation. Company newsletters and Live Events are among the podcasts available on LinkedIn.
