According to rumors, Asus will soon release two new smartphones with Flip cameras, which allow users to turn the camera. Being part of the Asus ZenFone 7 series, the Asus ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro are rumored to be premium smartphones using the newest flagship processors. In February of last year, Qualcomm unveiled smartphones using the Snapdragon 865 SoC, among them the ZenFone 7.
Both devices will only be available in two hues of black and white and employ the flip camera mechanism first debuted in the ZenFone 6. Due to the flip camera technology, an AMOLED screen without a notch will be employed, and there won’t be a selfie space.
Together with in-glass fingerprint technology, ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro will also support 5G networks. The use of up to 16GB of RAM was also mentioned in the report. On July 22, Asus will also reveal the ROG Phone 3.
It is anticipated that the ZenFone 7 series would be less expensive than the ROG Phone 3. In July, Asus will also release new smartphones.
