This little, ring-shaped gadget with the name Smarty Ring is intended to be connected to a smartphone. In addition to displaying additional notifications, the ring has an LED screen that displays the time, incoming and outgoing email, and other information.
The music playing on the phone can also be changed, and you can answer it by hearing the ring. According to rumors, Bluetooth can be used to link the smartphone and the ring.
A method to prevent the theft of the smartphone is also built into the ring. It is also claimed that an alarm would sound if the smartphone attached to the ring is more than 30 feet away.
Although smartwatches compete for customers, Smarty Ring comes at the problem from a different angle. Facebook and Twitter notifications will be displayed on the ring’s LED screen.
Ashok Kumar, a Chennai-based engineer, created the ring. Kumar started an Indiegogo fundraising campaign in an effort to raise $40,000 for the cutting-edge device.
Yet in addition to the objective being accomplished, more money than $30,000 has been raised. The phone has a Bluetooth 4.0 sensor, making it compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
For this connection, you must independently install the Smarty Ring App. Smarty’s profile, you can adjust the location’s time zone using the app, for example. In the absence of a notice, the ring’s LED will display the current time.
Also installed are a stopwatch in the clock, a countdown timer, and alarm systems. The rings will be used in 2019.
It will be offered for sale in April for $275. The discounted price of $175 is available to you if you took part in Kumar’s scheme. Kumar promises that the battery, which can be bent into a ring, will be used continually for 24 hours. After that, a wireless system will allow for recharging with a small base.
