Introducing Huawei’s first cordless smart speaker

The company’s first new wireless smart speaker has been introduced together with the release of the new Huawei P series phone. The initial product from Huawei was unveiled at a period when other phone manufacturers dominated the smart speaker industry. Along with French audio technology company Devialet, the new Sound X wireless speaker was created.

Speaker vibration is reduced via Devialet’s unique Speaker Active Matching (SAM) signal-processing technology and push-push speaker design. Huawei Share technology allows Huawei phones running EMUI 10.1 to transmit music wirelessly to Sound X’s 360-degree surround Hi-Res sound system.

WiFi Direct and Bluetooth are both supported for audio sharing between smartphones and the Sound X wireless speaker, however, the manufacturer recommends connecting via Huawei Share. The new Sporty edition of the Huawei Watch GT 2e smartwatch and the first smart speaker from the firm were both unveiled by Huawei. With typical use, the 455mAh battery inside the Huawei Watch GT 2e is expected to last up to 14 days.

It has a spherical AMOLED display and 4GB of storage. It features Bluetooth 5.1 technology and a Huawei HiSilicon Hi1132 processor. In April, the Huawei Watch GT 2e will go on sale for 100 Euros (over 300,000 Myanmar Kyats). The Huawei smart speaker’s cost and availability are currently unknown.
